Hotel description

The building dates from the beginning of the 20th century and forms part of the Historic Villa de Madrid (Town of Madrid) and was built in the developed area of the city, after the demolition of the wall delimiting the city boundaries in the reign of Felipe IV. Built in the Neo-classic style, its façade is now one of the most spectacular and most frequently photographed sites in the famous calle Atocha and, by extension, the well-known Barrio de Las Letras, birthplace of many well-known Spanish Golden Age writers.
